Fraser Valley Wineries Tour 6 Hours, Private Chauffeur
Wine country starts about an hour from downtown Vancouver. The Fraser Valley Wineries Tour runs six private hours through Langley’s vineyards, with three tastings, a vineyard lunch and a chauffeur who does all the driving.
Nobody in your group has to skip the pour. That is the whole reason this tour exists.
A private six-hour chauffeur-driven wine tour through the Fraser Valley, roughly an hour east of Vancouver. It covers Chaberton Estate Winery with a guided tour and tasting, lunch at Bacchus Bistro, Township 7 Vineyards, and a third stop of your choosing. Tasting fees and lunch are paid separately.
Langley sits 50 to 70 minutes from downtown Vancouver depending on traffic. Six hours means roughly two hours in the vehicle and four hours in wine country.
That is enough for three tastings and a proper lunch, at a pace that lets you actually talk to the people pouring. It is not enough for five wineries, and anyone promising that is counting the car park as a stop.
Staying in Surrey, Langley or Abbotsford? Say so. Starting closer buys you an extra hour in the valley at the same rate.

Where You Go
- Stop 01
Township 7 Vineyards and Winery
Township 7 is the counterpoint to Chaberton. Smaller lots, hands-on winemaking, and grapes sourced from both Langley and premium Okanagan vineyards.
The Langley tasting room is relaxed and the flight is curated rather than fixed. Expect reds, whites and rosé, and ask about the sparkling if it is pouring.
Township 7 has collected a long list of BC wine awards, and the staff are happy to explain what makes a small-lot wine different from a large production run. Bottles here are the ones most guests end up carrying home.
- Stop 02
Bacchus Bistro at Chaberton
Lunch happens at the winery, which saves you a drive and lets the pairing make sense.
Bacchus Bistro sits inside the Chaberton estate with a patio facing the vines. The kitchen works French country style with local produce, and the menu changes with the season.
Order the wine you just tasted alongside the food and the whole thing clicks. This is the stop most guests say made the day.
Lunch is at your own expense. We reserve the table, and your chauffeur waits.
- Stop 03
Chaberton Estate Winery
Chaberton is the Fraser Valley’s oldest and largest winery, established in 1991 on a 55-acre estate in South Langley. It was founded by a French winemaking family, which is why the varietals here lean cooler-climate European rather than Okanagan-style.
The guided tour walks you through the vineyard and the production side, from crush pad to barrel, before finishing with a seated tasting. Bacchus, a white grape rarely grown in North America, is the estate’s signature and worth trying even if you normally drink red.
The tasting covers whites, rosés and reds, usually five or six pours. Staff pour generously and explain each one properly rather than reciting a script.
Note on availability. The guided tour and tasting runs April to October, needs a minimum of four guests and takes a maximum of twelve. Outside that window we book a standard tasting instead, or swap the stop.
- Stop 04
Your Third Stop
The Fraser Valley has more than two wineries, and this is where most tours stop trying. Pick one when you book.
- Backyard Vineyards — a modern Langley tasting room with a strong sparkling programme and a big patio
- Vista D’oro Farms — a farmhouse winery known for its port-style wines and small-batch preserves
- Singletree Winery — a family operation in Abbotsford with Siegerrebe and Sauvignon Blanc worth the drive
- Mt. Lehman Winery — small, quiet, and one of the valley’s best-regarded reds
- The Fort Wine Co. — fruit wines, for anyone in your group who does not drink grape
- Campbell’s Gold Honey Farm and Meadery — mead tastings and an apiary, genuinely different
- Roots and Wings Distillery — field-to-flask gin and vodka, for a break from wine
- Krause Berry Farms — berry wines, a farm store and a waffle bar that draws its own crowd
Groups rarely agree on wine alone. A meadery, distillery or fruit winery keeps everyone happy, and none of them cost more to add.
Why a Private Chauffeur Matters Here
Wine tours are the one category where the driver is the product, not the transport.
Nobody sits out
BC’s impaired driving penalties are among the strictest in Canada, and a designated driver spends the day spitting or sipping water. With a chauffeur, every person in your group tastes properly.
Safe Bottle Travel
Buy what you like. Our SUVs and vans have the boot space, and your chauffeur loads the cases so nothing rolls around on the drive back.
No route planning
Langley’s wineries are spread across rural roads with poor signage and limited mobile coverage in places. We know the routes and the parking.
We book the table
Bacchus Bistro fills on weekends. So does Chaberton’s guided tour, which caps at twelve.
We manage the clock
Tasting rooms close earlier than you expect, most by five or six. Your chauffeur builds the day so the last stop is not a rush.
What You Will Actually Pay
| Item | Cost |
| Chaberton guided tour and tasting | $25 per person (April to October, min 4, max 12) |
| Township 7 wine tasting | $15 per person |
| Third-stop tasting | Typically $10 to $20 per person |
| Lunch at Bacchus Bistro | At your own expense |
Budget roughly $50 to $60 per person for tastings across the day, plus lunch and any bottles you buy.
Worth knowing. Many Fraser Valley wineries waive or credit the tasting fee if you buy a bottle. Ask at the counter rather than assuming.
Prices are for reference and change. Confirm with each winery before you travel.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Flat rate |
| Luxury Sedan | up to 2 | $936 |
| Luxury SUV | up to 5 | $1,027 |
| Wheelchair Accessible Sedan | 1 accessible + 3 | $1,040 |
| Wheelchair Accessible Van | 1 accessible + 7 | $1,547 |
| Executive Van | 6 to 14 | $1,313 |
Tour Rates
Pickup from anywhere in the City of Vancouver, YVR Airport or the Canada Place cruise terminal. All-inclusive of tax, gratuity, surcharges and parking.
Tasting fees and lunch are not included. See the cost table above.
Rates are in Canadian dollars. Nothing is added at the end of the ride.
Larger groups should look at the executive van. Split between eight people it works out lower per head than the sedan, and wine tours are better with a crowd.
Best Times to Book
April to October
Chaberton’s guided tour only runs in this window, and the patios are open. This is the core season.
September and October
Harvest. The crush pad is working, the vineyards are full, and the valley smells like fermenting fruit. The best time to visit and the busiest.
Weekdays
Tasting rooms are quieter, staff have time to talk, and you get the good version of the experience rather than the crowded one.
November to March
Tastings still run at most wineries, though hours shorten and some close Mondays and Tuesdays. Fewer people, more attention, lower prices on some bottles.
Always tell us your date early. Chaberton’s tour needs four guests minimum, so small groups sometimes need us to adjust the itinerary.
Who This Tour Suits
- Couples and small groups who want to taste without a designated driver
- Birthdays, anniversaries and hen or stag parties, using the executive van
- Corporate groups looking for something better than a boardroom lunch
- Visitors who have done Vancouver and want the countryside
- Wine club members collecting allocations across several estates
- Mixed groups, since mead, cider and spirits stops keep non-wine drinkers involved
Legal drinking age in British Columbia is 19, and tasting rooms check identification. Bring photo ID even if you are well past it.
Most Fraser Valley tasting rooms are single-storey with level parking, so this route works in our accessible vehicles. Vineyard walks involve gravel and grass. Tell us and we will pick venues accordingly.
Why Book United CLS
We operate under provincial passenger transportation regulations and carry commercial insurance on every vehicle. Licence details are available on request.
Chauffeurs who know the valley
Rural Langley is not intuitive. Our drivers know the back routes, the parking, and which tasting rooms close early on a Sunday.
One operator across two countries
United CLS runs chauffeured fleets in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Los Angeles and New York, and now serves Vancouver to the same standard.
Flat, all-in pricing
Tax, gratuity, parking and surcharges sit inside the quote. Only tastings, lunch and bottles are extra, and we publish the numbers above.
Honest guidance
Many Fraser Valley wines are made from Okanagan fruit, and some estates grow everything themselves. We will tell you which is which and let you decide what that is worth.

Fraser Valley Wineries Tour - FAQs
Are tasting fees included in the Fraser Valley Wineries Tour?
No. Chaberton’s guided tour and tasting is $25 per person and Township 7 is $15 per person. Budget roughly $50 to $60 each across the day.
How far is the Fraser Valley from Vancouver?
Langley sits 50 to 70 minutes from downtown depending on traffic. Six hours gives you about four hours in wine country.
How many wineries do we visit?
Three, plus lunch. That is a comfortable pace with time to talk to the staff. More stops means less time at each one.
Can we choose which wineries to visit?
Chaberton and Township 7 are the standard pair, and the third stop is yours. We can rebuild the whole route on request if you have favourites.
Is lunch included?
No. We reserve a table at Bacchus Bistro inside the Chaberton estate, and the meal is at your own expense.
Can we buy wine and take it with us?
Yes. Our SUVs and vans have room for cases, and your chauffeur loads them. Buying often waives the tasting fee too, so ask at the counter.
What if some of our group does not drink wine?
Choose a meadery, distillery, cidery or fruit winery as your third stop. Campbell’s Gold, Roots and Wings and The Fort Wine Co. all work well.
Does the tour run in winter?
Yes, though Chaberton’s guided tour only runs April to October. Outside that we book standard tastings or adjust the route.
Is there a minimum group size?
Not for the tour itself. Chaberton’s guided tour needs four guests minimum, so smaller parties get a standard tasting instead.
What is the legal drinking age in British Columbia?
Nineteen. Tasting rooms check identification, so bring photo ID.
Can you collect us from a hotel outside Vancouver?
Yes. Starting from Surrey, Langley or Abbotsford shortens the drive and buys you more time in the valley at the same rate.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 48 hours before pickup for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, a partial charge applies. Winery and restaurant reservations are cancelled on your behalf.
